Remodeling and Insulating a mobile home?…?
Hubby and I are remodeling our mobile home, due to recently finding black mold from previous water damage. Starting tomorrow we are starting by remodeling one of the bedrooms that measures 11×11. We already know how much drywall we will need for the walls and ceiling (we’ve chosen to use drywall) – we want to insulate the place, because we noticed over the past few years, that it doesn’t heat nor cool very well. My questions are as follows :
1. When insulating, whats the best type for mobile homes?
2. Do you insulate just behind the walls, or the ceiling and floor as well?
3. How much insulation will I need total (square footage) to insulate th room? If doing only the walls? Doing the walls and ceiling? Doing the Walls, Ceiling and floor?….
Any other tips that may be helpful while insulating, that saves either time or money are greatly appriciated.

The last website seems to be a really good one when it comes to insulation. There is one website listed that says to use drywall in a mobile home, one should be careful as they are not designed for all that weight..you might want to look further into this before starting this huge project. Hope some of these websites are helpful for you! Happy renovating.
