can you freeze punch to make ice in a metal cookie cutter?

I am doing a wedding for my brother.. he wants me to use leaves, acorns, and pumpkins, for the ice in the punch… if i wrap aluminum foil around the cookie cutter to hold the punch in place will it freeze to the side or come out easy! ??
i have over 40 of the cookie cutters!

Honestly? No. No matter what you do, water is too, well, fluid, to be contained by aluminum foil. There is a way to seal them using some gel icing….first you place the cookie cutters down on a flat cookie pan, then seal all around the outside using the gel….weight them down and put in the freezer to freeze the gel. Now, using iced water or punch, remove the weight and pour the water in 3/4 of the way to filling the mold, then refreeze. Its a crap shoot, though, as the gel will sometimes loosen. After, to loosen them from your mold, just set the pan on a warmed surface, and let a little bit melt…they’ll come right out. Immediately refreeze in single layer so they don’t stick together.
There are some really neat ways to do such things…one that works the best is to use candy molds. They are relatively inexpensive…and have the added bonus of being widely available! Afterwards, you can always have an adventure in making your own candy.
Actually, for a wedding where fall is the theme, they can add a load of charm by using them for making candy to put on the tables or for your favors!

Woodworking – What is the name for this woodworking tool?

About 2 years ago I remember seeing this tool in my fathers garage for sawing wood. The best I can describe it is that you slid the wood into it and it had different angled slits in it that guided the saw through the wood for you at different angles. I drew a picture to illustrate what I think it looks like here: http://i54.tinypic.com/2ikz5au.jpg but I just dont know the name for it. I was thinking that this woodworking tool will work for cutting angles in ceiling molding for my bedroom. That is the whole reason I am wondering the name so I can purchase one to cut the ceiling molding. I know your supposed to use a miter saw but I don’t have money for one right now and I need to replace the molding very soon. Do you think that this will work? By the way I’m new to woodworking but have been working for my grandfather painting and renovating apartments for about 3 years. Please help me figure out the name for this. Thanks

It is Called a MITRE BOX The Saw used with this wood workers tool is call a BACK SAW. Today most of these hand tools have been replaced with a power version. The older style made by people like Stanley in their prime. Most really precision angle cuts are done with a table sander.

Where is the rubber protective cover time for a key contact ATC?

I lost my key and another had been a dealer. Needed my key numbers were recorded. Through his book and special keys cut, which has a replacement nine, but had no special rubber boots that the original had. I want this boot for the climate, protecting the environment.

How I can convert a "sketch" an image into a template that can be used to burn the wood finish?

I have a picture of a beautiful girl I know who had "shown." I want engraved on this piece of mahogany that first dark. Can you print the template on the finish so I can cut? I'm imagining a picture of the burning at the finish is not a true sculpture of the image. As the laser metal.

Plasma Blade. Is that Stealing from Star Wars? (Writing Project)?

I’m working on some writing and I was trying to think of some sci fi like weapons. if I call this weapon a Plasma Blade and change the handles to something-not like lightsabers-is that considering stealing or using the same idea from star wars?

You cannot steal an idea, you can use an idea, borrow an idea, add to an idea, but you cannot steal it, an idea is an idea. A light saber is an idea, a faster than light space vessel is an idea, time travel is an idea.

Just think what would happen if all ideas were copyright.
