Is there recourse for a verbal agreement on carpentry work on my home?
I had a friend doing work on my newly aquired home. As a thank you for the work he had done and was going to continue to do I was able to get two free tickets to a NO Saints game. The deal was he was going to pay for his flight/hotel ($300), but I took care of everything else (meals, transportation, and entertainment) in exchange for him to complete work on my kitchen remodel, building of a china cabinet, and installation of screen doors. Now he is refusing to complete the work he verbally agreed to do. What recourse do I have?
